I need to know materials I need. ( Example ) clay, thermometer

clay would work, something like plastacine or play doh, pastry would also work well. You'll need about 3 equal size peices of whatever material you choose to use.
One you can leave in the open as a control substance.
Three that you could wrap in different things. Like, brown paper, cling film and tin foil. Remember to leave them all in the same place for the same length of time.

so..... material to cool, three sheets of different material, a thermometer (maybe one to take air temp too) and a table of some sort to record your results at several different times.

Stick a meat thermometer in clay, wrap one in plastic wrap, the other in aluminum foil. Place both in the refrigerator. Take them out. Read temperatures for both of them over a long period of time. At the ends of a suitable period of time, read which tempertature is lower (keeps things colder).
