Try your local Planned Parenthood. They provide education in addition to medical care.

Firstly what country are you in?
If in England there are lots of places kids can find out about sex - the full story, not just the fun bits but the bad bits as well, try asking at school/collage if you have mentor, or school Nurse it may feel embarrassing but believe me they have heard it all before, also try a family planning centre, they don't just deal with people who are having babies, or trying to not have one, also try asking you're doctors, as some have councillors who will help with this type of information on a friendly basis,
Hopefully there is an adult around you can trust enough to talk to even to ask the question of where to go.
Good Luck and keep safe

Well, how old are you? You can always go to the library, at any age, and look up books on the subject.

You could ask a teacher, or some other adult that you trust, but be careful, and don't expect them to be excited to answer! Most adults probably won't want to talk about it. But, you do have a right to some basic information. But, a good adult will make sure they are giving you only the information you need, based on your age.

If you are already in puberty, you could probably go to Planned Parenthood and ask for a physical and ask all your questions.

Hope that helps. For more on the biological side of things, your friend needs to take a sexual education class.
