I have never personally seen that spelling of the name. My daughters is Destinee and my granddaughter is Destini. And as far as the comment of naming her something that will be spelled wrong her whole life that happens with every name, I have one of the most common names in the world and I still get asked how to spell it. And with a name like Destinee (sorry I spell it my way LOL) she will never need to use her last name when trying to identify herself!!

Destiny and Destany are both feminine ways to spell it, even though Destiny is the correct way to spell it .Destony is a little bit more masculine but its still a beautiful name and you can spell it any way that you wish.

I have never seen Destony. If I were to read it it would seem as if it were Des-Toney, not Destiny. I've also seen it spelled as Destinie and Destine, but it doesn't look as if it would be Destiny.

Please don't curse your child with a name that will be spelled wrong for the rest of her life. Every time someone else writes her name, the chances of it being spelled wrong go up. She'll constantly have to tell people the correct spelling. If you like Destiny, name her Destiny. But don't try to get creative with the spelling.

Using the spelling with an O might have a lot of people mispronounce her name and call her "Destoney" and put more emphasis on an o sound rather than a soft "I" sound.

I would stick to the spelling as Destiny it looks more feminine also.
