For some reason I cannot concentrate today after everything that happened yesterday. I just couldn't imagine going through what everyone at Virgina Tech went through. I can't stop thinking about it. Has this horrible tragedy effected you in any way?

I Know Exactly how you feel - God Bless and All of the People that have been Hurt by this Horrible Tragedy!

I think the Biggest question we have is: WHY???????

My heart goes out to all of the families and friends along with the police, doctor's and paramedics that were involved along with all of the People who have see all of this on the Television and Cable!

I too was a victim of something like this - the first time something like it ever happened: I was a RN with USC Medical working in the emergency room. We had a patient who was the victum of a shooting - he was shot from the 'other' gainn. He came in and the patient was being treated and in 'criticle condition' and we could not let anyone in. He did leave - but, came back about 10 minutes later! He came this time with 2 guns and a rifle under his coat! He walked right through to where our patient was - I was in the room trying to put an arteriel IV in - he shot the doctor and told me: "Dam IT - GET AWAY FROM THAT BAST...." You know what he said. It was so terrifying! He just started shooting up that treatment room, I ducted down and was not shot - but had everyone's blood all over my uniform! He killed the gang member and started shooting other people - patients, nurses and people in the waiting area! Eleven people all together were shot - 4 died! It was something that I will NEVER Forget!

Now, here's another tragedy like mine - like Culumbine - like Austin - like the Amish Schoolhouse! All of these were horrible, tragic and WRONG!

What I do - depend on the Lord, my family and wonderful friends. I consider myself Blessed - that I have such a wonderful family and tremendous friends (that I can ALWAYS DEPEND ON - IN/WHEN I NEED THEM!) I am indeed Extreemly Fortunate!

Seeing the first reports yesterday and on the internet at the same time - I was in 'SHOCK' that something like this could even happen!!!!! This, is how I go on with my life and, I have a Very Good Life! I have an AWSOME husband!!! This is how I continue and how I will continue in the near future with what has happened here. This still will/does hurt!

It DID remind me of what I went through - Oh I've had other experiences also - In Isreal - In Cork County - Dublin, Ireland and in Frankford, Germany!

This IS indeed the Latter Days and I just have to keep this all in Prayer and Pray that there are no more tragedies like this!

I am a graduate of UCLA in Westwood, California and Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. I NEVER Experience ANYTHING like what happened at Virginia Tech!

I saw the 'Special' on ABC at 2:00 EST - my heart was touched by all of the people and their reactions to what happened. I saw a lot of people there who were REALLY HURTING!!!!!!! I Pray that they will find some peace in this - as BAD as it IS.

Take Care and God Bless!

All I have been thinking about since yesterday was how grateful I am to be here, alive. I know it sounds horrible of me. But it made me realize that the people I ignore could someday hold the trigger in their hand. I have noticed that my college campus is quieter, and everyone is in twos. I do not want to obsess, I just keep thinking about how glad I am that I know no one who was hurt.

The one thing that keeps going through my head in a prayer for all of those affected. Continue to pray for all of those at Virginia Tech. Their families, the victims, the students, officials, the police, the teachers, college students around the country, the shooters family (the lost someone too), and for all those affected.

well I can definitely imagine. I went to college where two students were murdered on campus while I was there. You cannot imagine the fear, numbness, sadness and anger they are feeling. The feelings are just unbearable and at first, it doesn't feel real. You're still numbed then it sinks in and you realize how stunned and scared you are.

I understand what you are saying. It's hard to get it off your mind, whether you were a survivor there. Just watching the news about what's happening brings back everything for me when I was college and my two friends were murdered. So it really does affect me a lot.

I think a tragedy like that affects us all. I watch a lot of it on TV and the PC and shed tears for all those affected.

You must be a basket case. Sorry to hear that this affects you so much. I am affected by all the needless deaths and injustice that occurs ever day. I am starting to notice that I can not function. Where to get help. No one gives a damned about me.

While yesterday was a tradegy, killings happen every day, every hour, for every reason, all over the world. You need to put things into perspective.

Honestly, it's a sad thing that happened. But life goes on. You cannot let it keep you from living the way you did before. Whatever doesn't kill me makes me stronger.
