Definitely is for me....start doing something around the house or whatever...and you'll end up daydreaming....and that will bring inspiration and ideas for whatever you want to write =)

Sure it is!
Not just daydreaming is good for poetry and writing, but memories, lost time, years of childhood or dreams.
Once told to me by a author, who had wrote many books.

I can't write unless I "disappear" so yes, I suppose that is daydreaming.
