There's nothing you can do (although drinking lots of water can help you feel better, it won't do much for the baby). Mine did the same thing...I constantly felt her hiccups and it would go on for sometimes up to a half hour at a time. Unfortunately this often carries over to outside the womb and they continue to have hiccups...but the good news is that they are usually completely fine with them....it just seems bothersome to the parents!

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and experiencing much the same thing. My son seems to always have a bad case of hiccups right around the time I would like to get some sleep! I don't believe there is anything we can do except be reminded of the miracle our bodies are producing. It always amazes me to realize that there is a whole other being inside of me that hiccups and all!! Congratualtions to you and it will sure to be a story you can share with her later in life.

It is completely normal. I was so excited waiting for the first time my baby girl would hiccup, it was a pretty cool feeling; she actually still gets the hiccups a lot, and she is 5 months old:)

Hiccups in a fetus are a normal occurrence. It isn't a sign of anything wrong. No, there's nothing you can do that will stop them. I used to think it was cute when my babies had hiccups when I was pregnant with them. They did it a lot after I delivered them, too!

I really don't think there is anything you can do to help her out, just think of it like this she is using her swallowing reflexes and they must be working so she is just getting ready to be good and healthy for you when she is born.... You poor thing are you getting any sleep? I had a terrible time sleeping with a hiccupping baby.....

My daughter did that all the time. There isn't anything you can do about it. It did get annoying sometimes, but eventually she'll stop. My grandmother always said that when you hiccup it means you're growing, so I always just thought she must be growing a lot.

Lol:) I too am 32 weeks along and know exactly what you are talking about! I don't think there is too much we can do but I know what you mean about being up all night:) Between that and the heartburn I am so tired - but at the same time I am so excited. Not too long now:) Good luck and Congrats!! Your June Baby Buddy:)

get up and walk around. My daughter use to do that a lot to when I was pregnant and I found going for a walk around the house stoped her hiccups.
