Do you think you buy mostly the same brands as your friends and family, or do your tastes differ?

Usually different brands since I'm the only vegetarian in my family. I also refuse to buy generic condiments. It has to be the real stuff (ie Hellmanns, French's or Nance's Mustard, Heinz Ketchup). Most everyone I know hits the generics for that sort of stuff. I'm a condiment snob. I also refuse to buy margarine. It has to be butter.

It truly depends on the product. For instance, bread, my grandma, dad, mom, my friends and I are content with buing the cheap $1 wheat loaf from Wal-Mart or H-E-B. Now my aunts bake their own bread cause they like to make everything themselves. Another product such as tissues I buy the most expenssive brand at the store cause I'm willing to pay the extra buck to keep my nose from getting red. My friends and family on the other hand with settle for that cheap one ply stuff that scratches you nose when you blow.

My taste differs and I'm so glad of it because if the girls in my house liked the same products as I do I'm sure they would constantly be borrowing my stuff and I'm sooo selfish with my things.
