It equals $41,600 per year, before taxes. Equation is simple: $20.00 (hourly rate) * 40 (hours in a working week) = 800 (per week) $800.00 (per week) * 52 (amount of weeks in a year)= $41,600.00.

Don't you have a calculator ?

$20 per hour x 40 hours = $800 per week
$800 per week x 52 weeks a year = $41,600-00

Probably about 20% will be taken in taxes which will be $8320-00.

Leaves you with a yearly wage of approximately $33,280-00.

Realistically:
20 * 40 = $800 per week
800 * 50 = 40,000 per year gross (What, you didn't want a vacation? Ok, then 41,600 gross.)

Figure about 25-30% taxes and your take home is about
31,200, This does not count in any health insurance, dues and fees or state income tax.

41,600 before taxes but it is hard to find jobs that pay that much that aren't salaried. Especially in this day and age where manufacturing jobs are outsourced. You need a degree usually to make that amount of money and it is usually salaried

It comes out to approximately $41,600 based on a 40 hour work week without overtime.

I'm sure you will find a job paying $20 an hour if you can't do the simple math to figure out what it would amount to in a year.

Better stay at you burger flipping job for the time being.
