I have it....it's as good as anything else. You learn where the drop zones are and just try not to be on the phone when you hit them.

If you live in a more rural area of the country you will get more dropped calls than in the city. But I guess that's true of any service. My boyfriend has Cingular and he has had problems with customer service and wants to change providers. However, as far as I know Cingular is still the only provider that offers rollover minutes which is the best idea in cell phone history to date, IMO.

I have Cingular service in Oklahoma. Cingular is probably the best network here in the south/midwest area. They have lousy customer service, but the actual cell service and network is good. In other parts of the country, I don't know .

had it for awhile, something like 4 yrs, had t-mobile before that; i think cingular is better, some of their phones are so-so but the coverage is good. customer service can be a challenge but they usually resolve things eventually. only had one really bad customer service call and that was speaking to a local representative, not an 800 number.

I love Cingular, I never get dropped calls and I get service everywhere I go. I just HATE the internet. T Mobile has good internet, makes me want to get a sidekick.
Sprint has the worst service and they bill the hell out of you!!!!!!!

I switched over from Sprint to Cingular after moving to NYC from Tx and absolutely love it. I got the new blackjack for a great price and my monthly payments are consistent with no extra fees. Great coverage in the city too as my friends with other carriers (Especially Verizon) are always complaining.

I have Verizon, since they were Nynex Mobile, about 20 years ago.
Never had a problem, used my phone all over the US and parts of Canada.
And in some really remote parts of US.
Never a problem, Love them and wouldn't ever think of switching.
