some do but my mom married a heavy man, I have overweight male cousins who are married & have been for yrs. I'm 36, & thin,-never been married, & rarely get a girlfriend. (It's all on the inside that counts) maybe cause I'm too shy, don't drive, still live at home, don't have a good job, (but things could be worse.)

Well the saying goes "birds of a feather..."
But at the same time, if the woman is obsessed with looking thin, one way to appear thinner, would to be near heavier people. But that all is very superficial---people should like/love people for who they are on the inside.

No, I see lots of happly looking couples where the woman/man is a little larger than the woman/man.

In my younger years, I preferred a tall husky fella...one with some meat on his bones. Not fat, but not grossly muscular either.
