No they do no longer look to be the same. Evolution substitute right into a theory being batted around because of the fact the the 1790's in severe way. there have been many theories positioned forward to describe the mechanisms of evolution. interior the 1850's (very extra or less) Darwin and Wallace, working independently of opposite factors of the earth got here up with the same hypothesis. countless observations and experiments considering that then proceed to lend help to the hypothesis, now extra effective to a theory. worldwide warming is yet another observable phenomenon extensively observed because of the fact the 1970's. As in evolution there's little doubt that this is occurring in spite of the reality that the mechanisms using it are debated. IN the two circumstances the tentative reasons of the observable information brought about the fighters of the proposed reasons to stand as much as the belief, first shrilly, then hysterically. i might have theory that any moron able to, if no longer analyzing a newspaper, a minimum of gazing television, might have found out that. i assume no longer nonetheless, which permits to describe the hysteria.

This is both an excellent point and an excellent way to describe the situation. They can try and infect mindless LCD's (lowest common denominators) of the world and all the mall trash they can find, but the overwhelming majority of educated Americans know better and actively guard their minds and that of their children's and steer them away from the lying liberal media's madness.
The more they try and convince the public that they're the majority, the more we turn them off like a switch. They don't speak for the majority of us and they never have and they NEVER will. Libs and psycho left wing nut extremists are pissed because this very medium were using in the Internet, is the very thing that is putting away the big three lying networks, such as AABC(Anti-American broadcast company,) CBS(Communist Bolshivek network) and NBC (Nationalist BS network,) as well as CNN(Communist news network.) And that's to say nothing of the NY slimes and the Washington compost and other notoriously lying papers.
They are their own worst enemy and it's only a matter of time before they're rendered a non-sequetor. Money talks and people aren't spending theirs on these crappy, two bit hack glorified independent "films" or white trash rock or angry crap rap.
This is why their forms of entertainment aren't being well received and we can unite as a country again is only we get God back into America and keep the lying media from dividing us.

even if you didn't believe global warming is true, which is unfortunate considering all of the science, the actions that those are calling for to stop global warming can go a long way in solving other problems. It's a fact that fossil fuels are a finite resource, so we're going to have to make the switch to renewable power anyway, so why not now. Oil is the main cause for conflict in the Middle East, so why don't we produce a fuel at home that isn't polluting and not have to worry about the Middle East. Energy Prices are only going to get higher, which will have a damaging effect on our economy if all our money is going to turning on a light bulb. The rise of bio-fuels, produced right here in the US, has helped strengthen our economy and it's use isn't even widespread yet. So, what do we have to lose??? Even if you don't believe in global warming it only seems like we have something to gain in changing how we get our energy.

It's a humanitarian issue....not a liberal one. Stop refusing to do your part to stop polluting the earth just because you see it as some sort of liberal agenda. The oil companies and factories responsible for the majority of the pollution don't want you to believe that global warming is real because it will cost them MONEY and since our government is pretty much run by these same people and their money....they have turned this into a political issue when in fact, it is not.
Everyone would benefit from a clean planet, not just liberals. The only people who won't would obviously be the ones who own the factories and companies and refineries that would have to make expensive adjustments to their facilities in order to adhere to environmental laws. However, in the long run, when catastrophic damage is done to the earth, they will suffer the consequences as well.

Love paying to see a movie and get hit with propaganda.
Truth seeker - The fact that there is no Government funding for alternative explanations and that dissenting scientists(most of whom are just as qualified if not more then those on the UN Commission) are shouted down as tools of big oil makes it political, not Conservatives.
Retodd - If you're are going to make up figures why not say 147% of climatologists say its real? There were a fair number of scientists on the UN Commission for Climate Change that quit the Commission over disagreements over methodology, findings and the wording of the report and yet their names were still included as contributors. Does that mean they should be listened to as just as credible as those who are behind the Man is the cause group?
globalwarmingisreal - why is it the only people who get shouted down are those who disagree with the Global Warming alarmists? Maybe its your group that can't handle the truth?
Edit - Hey people, how does the fact that the majority of one group of scientist got together and said they THINK it is LIKELY that man is the cause of Global Warming make it a fact? Only facts make it a fact. Once upon a time the vast majority of scientists thought the sun revolved around the earth and the the earth was flat and it took courageous men who were under the threat of death to convince the world otherwise by using FACTS.

I find it very disturbing that some conservatives still think that this is a "liberal" issue when in fact it isn't liberal or conservative - its a SCIENCE issue, and most of the world's accredited scientists agree it is real... and so does John McCain, and he is not a liberal, now is he?
Regardless, if the scientists are wrong, and we act now anyway the worst that will happen is that we will have cleaner air to breathe - how awful! If the scientists are right and we don't act, we are in deep trouble and may be creating our own exctinction. Better to err on the side of caution than to possibly doom our grandchildren to a disaster. Even the retired generals are "getting on the bandwagon", and they are usually quite conservative. Its a SCIENCE issue - not a political one.

You are poisoning their minds by telling them not to poison the earth?
** Sorry POLLUTING their minds by telling them not to POLLUTE the Earth...What possible benefit would the liberals recieve with such an agenda? This is not a politically motivated argument, this is just wanting our grandchildren to be able to enjoy the same clean air, water, and land we have so abused and taken for granted
*** the military even has a small fleet of hydrogen fuel cell trucks...hmmmmm.
I think what conservative lawmakers/politicians are hoping for is that it WILL cease to be a political issue, as democrats have long been on the side of the environment. Once all the infrastructure has been put into place, then they can say "Oh but we have been environmental advocates all along!"
P.S. I live on a military base and you are REQUIRED to recycle and utilize compost bins. There are depots for recycling toxic materials here (batteries, cell phones, computer parts etc.) There are newsletters sent out to each community on how to conserve energy and how energy consumption affects the environment...These are federally funded programs...

Liberalism is a mental disorder. They don't realize the reason the world dislikes us is not because of Bush, but because of their liberal agenda they have been forcing down the throats of the world for the last 30 years. That's why we are lacking morals and values worldwide, not because of the neo-cons!

Wow. What an honor for us to have a brilliant scientist here at Yahoo Answers! And not only that, someone who is smarter then the 95% of climatologists who have studied this issue and say it is real and that humans effect their environment. Only you have the wisdom and courage to see through the blatantly political agenda of scientists across the world and their blatantly political PhD's and honors from scientific societies. Only you have the clarity of vision to accept what the oil and chemical corporations have been saying all along: that pollution does NOT effect the environment. Everybody else is STUPID. I'm truly humbled by your superior intellect.
Well, you and that other brilliant mind, Rush Limbaugh. What was his college degree in, by the way? What was your degree in?
Oh by the way, the world is flat and the cigarette companies were right: cigarettes are not addictive and in fact contain essential vitamins and minerals.
Now you'll excuse me. I have a date with the tooth fairy.
