Definitely. As a graduate I found that a degree didn't really get me anywhere and that it is experience and confidence that get you forward in a career and not a piece of paper for three years of University or college.

It may seem difficult now if you are just starting out but in a few years you'll be at a similar level as those graduates.

Sure you can get a good job without a college degree. However, you probably will not be able to land a good job right away. Most likely you'll have to start in an entry level position and work your way up the ladder. It might take several years before you can get a job that a college grad could have gotten.

It really sucks but that's just the way of the world.

Sure. Lots of people have good jobs with no college degree. But you have to start somewhere. Pick a field you're interested in, and explore the possibilities. Be prepared to take an entry level position where you can get experience and on-the-job training. You won't just drop into a high-paying job without time and effort.

Your question is too vague. For something like acting or being a a hard core code monkey for life (someone who wants to write computer code for 40 years), yeah, you can get far with experience and no degree. For something like medicine/healthcare, law, dentistry, no way! You will not even get an interview with truckload of experience and reading. So, what do you want to do with your life? Knowing this can help determine if a college degree is a must or a can-do-without.

Work is about people.Customers,employees,bosses...Find something you like,or a company that has a good reputation.Work your tail off and be willing to lend a hand to co-workers.Opportunities come to those reliable and easiest to work with, not some college grad who feels 'entitled'
