What kind of condition is it in? Does it have a lot of scratches?

If it looks like new, then it could be worth as much as four dollars, depending on where it was minted (see the first source for a list of values).

You need to look to see its condition and identify its origin (see second source).

I'd suggest finding a collector's coin shop near you and asking for their opinion.

There are factors involved in an exact determination such as the condition of the coin--mint condition or good condition or used condition, etc. It also depends on whether there is a letter after the date. See this site for more details. The following is based on US dollars:

1941 $2-3
1941D $2-4
1941S $2-3

It's worth one quarter.

Keep in mind also that when it was minted, that quarter
could have bought you

- more than a gallon of gas (0.19 cents/gallon)
- 3 loaves of bread (0.08 cents/loaf)

The average person earned $925 in a year in 1941.

Realistically, it's worth whatever the price of silver is at the moment.

You might check to see if that particular quarter has any special collector's significance.
