Every person makes a difference in the world. Each of us has something that makes the entire universe a better place, or a worse place. We get to choose which person we are. We may never realize how important we each are to people we meet and with whom we interact, or refuse to interact. We each have the possibility of having children who will affect the world in his/her own way, and their children, and theirs. My first teacher had no idea that her behavior would have me choose to become a teacher because she was the nicest person I had ever met. That is only one tiny example. We do not all need to write books, poetry. We do not all need to be 'accepted in our own time' as a great artist or speaker. We do not even need to be accepted as a wonderful person, to really make a positive change in the world. (John Brown was considered totally nuts by most people, until it was decided that he was one of the first people to fight against slavery.). Each day, we speak to people, make an impression, and change someone's ideas......or open people up to new questions! Be assured, we are all 'changers' of the world, in our own way.

Yes, they can make a difference for themselves that they are kind, polite, generous, caring and giving and that would make them a good person and when others see that they can tell that is a good person, but, they can be the best person in the world or christian and really people can't see that because, they are so into themselves and their is so much ugly in the world that it won't change and if people think that it can change, but, that's a naive way of thinking. They can't make a difference for anyone else, because, most people don't care about the world we live in or the people in it. That's why people litter, kill people and animals, child abuse, rape, domestic violence, animal abuse, neglect, abandonment, assault etc. Because, people were not taught to care about themselves and others and when they have children they don't teach them to care, so, people can make a difference in the world, but, not change the world. I'm not being negative, only realistic! I am the first one that want to make a difference and change the world, but, I know I can make a difference in the world to be the best person I can be, but, I know its humanly impossible to change the world.

Yes . But many have not chosen to do so. Perhaps it does not occur to them that they can change the world

Yes you can. And like mother Teresa said: if you cannot save the whole world, then save just one.

Yes, but you will have to be a little pushy and take charge. You can do this in a civil manner though.
