Without a doubt a single person can change the world! Be it inventor, philosopher, religious Icon. My example here is Gutenberg. He invented movable type... The Printing Press. This brought less expensive books to the masses and revolutionized the world. Before Gutenberg all books had to be copied by hand.
You may not be Aristotle or Gutenberg but YOU have a great influence on those around you. Use the Force!

Martin Luther King Jr...
Ghandi...
Mother Theresa...
Hitler...
Not all changes are good, as not all people are good
But, yes, one person can make a significant difference in the world.
If we as a society could figure out how to get all the good people in the world together that want to make positive changes and get them working collectively I think we'd all be more comfortable with the world we will leave to future generations.

Yes! The loudest person, is the one that changes their culture and if someone changes a culture that affects the way that people live worldwide... they have changed the world...
Another thing to think about is, that you think you are only one person to the world, but you may be the world to one person!!! And you can change their world!

yes. And it is rather simple. I plan to change the wordl in this way. I will work on creating new medical technology that will save lives. that in itself changes the world. here is where it gets better. if one person i save by this technology becomes the curer of cancer or parkinsons or the president or something, i changed the world again. And if that president that i saved with my tech puts in place a policy to save the lives in another country, i just changed the world again. And if one of those lives saved causes another person to go into the medical field and save lives... it is a dominoe effect.

Linsey For sure,
Starts at one person, If not one than none would follow.
Once said," Give a man a fish- He feeds his family. But teach a man to fish- He feed a village."
We all have to start somewhere, so why not start with one.
Teach the world to sing in Harmony, the more the merrier.

Yes they certainly can. Even if that difference is only related to one person, it is a difference for the good none the less.
