They have taken up the cause of racism in their political lives. Therefor, the media uses them to appear in race related issues, and that is when they want to be used. In none race related issues, the media doesn't need or want them, since that is not what they are making their cause about. I don't think they are trying to be moral or political commentators outside of race issues. It is sort of like a person making abortion, or free speech their main issue.

It was not a "whitey" shooting a bunch of black people, so why would Sharpton or Jackson care? They probably did a little "happy dance" to see so many white people dead.
Neither one is "reverend" and neither one cares at all about anyone but themselves.

even better, when they found out it was an asian that was responsible, they quatrantined all the asians on campus, where are the cries of injustice from that. oh waint, they arnt black people, or muslims, if they were then it would be a whole new story.

I'm guessing that if no Blacks got hurt, then what's the point of them getting involved? America has a long history of not liking Koreans, so what could either of these guys do to help, anyway? (The news said the shooter was a Korean Immigrant)
