I saw the ugliest pair of New Balance the other day and they were $129 dollars. Air Jordans are the same way.

it depends on your taste of shoes, other people might think they are rather nice.

Well its a mind trick. The uglier the shoes they have to raise the price to make it look like its "good" because people have the common misconception of expensive things are better. The second reason is the New Balance may be a better performance shoe and the Air Jordan's are for show.

i think that's a very personal opinion. shoes that are ugly to yuou aren't ugly to other people. plus some shoes are made differently to help you in sports (air jordans- b-ball), those new balances that you saw may have been for basketball or may have been expensive for another reason. plus, the company has 2 make money somehow!!

I agree but lots of folks love them like that...
I'm in the suburbs of a big city, and in the city they consider their sneakers to be a reflection of their status...so the flashier, the better. To them anyway.
Kind of the way women's purses are lately!

because they were made by JORDAN and NIKE....well if your like i buy 160 dollare shoes..just because they cost more..than others..so even if someone else is like your shoes are ugly im like but they cost twice as much as yours :p then they shut up lol
