"Share the blame" is a lie from Satan. Society has totally moved away from being able to fault a person for their own actions. And in doing so, have taken away people's ability to accept that we are sinners.
Satan likes that, because to accept the free gift of salvation, one must first acknowledge his guilt. If I can be convinced by society that nothing is my fault... I should blame the president, my 5th grade teacher, television, the Internet, my parents..... etc., then there is no way that I can believe that I am a sinner and need salvation.
Stop being part of the problem. You're old enough to remember when people were held accountable for their own actions, and should be wise enough to see it.

i think the situation as we see it would not have happened if 9/11 had not happened so to blame Bush and Blair isn't exactly being fair to these men they had to go after the terrorist or where would we be now i didn't see anyone else willing to take them on and the tragedy yesterday has got nothing to do with the far east it was a troubled person who lost it and others had to suffer for his actions

I think it's just that, a 'terrible situation' an 'incredible tragedy' - no one is to blame other than the guy who undertook this killing spree. I'm afraid I don't see your linkage to Iraq unless you're suggesting the wrath of God has been heaped upon Pres. Bush (look out Tony Blair eh?!)

OK, here is what I think about it. There was a tragedy that occurred at Virginia Tech. We can not drag in gun control, Bush, Blair, or the Easter Bunny. We need to focus our attention to Virginian Tech and those who have survived. Do you realize that most if not all of these young people who survived have had their world turned upside down. One moment they were in class thinking about upcoming graduation and the next minute they were running for their lives. As the days go on we will hear about the shooter and what may or may not have caused him to do what he did. Let's think about these students who have survived this tragedy and not be concerned about who to point their finger at.
Peace

Why would the president share any blame?
No one is to blame, but the gunman i mean how disgracful to compare a young man shooting people at VT to opposing western values and Iraq?
what are we coming to today...

Come off it. Blair and Bush can be blamed for a lot but they cannot be blamed for a madman who goes on a shooting rampage. The blame lies on the killer. I haven't yet heard if the killer was a muslim, but I understood it was a jealous ex boyfriend, who was clearly crazed. It hasn't yet been reported that this was a political killing as far as I know.

You can't blame the government and people in power for every tragedy that happens in the world.
What happened was terrible and inexcusable but at the end of the day the person who pulled the trigger is the one to blame. We may never know what was happening in his mind.

This act was carried out by one evil or mentally deranged man. If he hated the US that much he could have left the country to go back to Korea where he was born. Don't try to excuse what he did, HE bought the guns, HE loaded the guns, HE shot the people. Plenty of people are unhappy with their countries policies and they don't shoot people. HE is responsable for his actions and no one else.

That was one mad man nobody knows what is going on inside the head of a nutcase. All guns should be banned except for armed forces and police. It is so sad what has happened only the blame lies with the man who used the gun nobody else.
