it's definitely a huge tragedy... unfortunately, I think that even events such as this one is not going to change much.... especially not the 'American firearm culture' ...

The only thing I can say is: tragic.

I can't imagine what the answer will be. I hear that the shooter was troubled. Maybe we could start there, by identifying the troubled people and getting them help. I am very sorry for the victims and I am not putting the shooters care above theirs, I just think we have to start at the beginning and that would be with the shooter. We are all so worried about human rights, but the victims had rights too. Maybe if we could somehow "force" treat these disturbed people some of this would stop.

I know I have not put this well, but this is what I am feeling.

i don't attend V.T., but i feel bad for all the families and friends of the victims. i even feel bad for the guy who did this. he had to be real sick in the head to do something like this and then to take his own life. my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this.

Son is a student @ a Local University
he and his fellow classmates cannot fathom that no one rushed the gunman as he was reloading many times his pistols
The assailant made a group of people stand in a row while he shot them one by one in the head- their hands were not bound..

No one said " let's roll"?
