A member of the administration of Virginia tech, where the shooting recently happened, in 2006 praised a law passed on campus forbidding students to carry their legally owned self defense guns on campus, or to store them in their dorm rooms, legally their residencies. Why will guns, not this law making students defenseless, be blamed for the deaths?

Guns are not to blame. The irresponsibility of an individual to use a gun not as a weapon is to blame.
