Finally a question with some juice to it...not the type that Barry Bonds drinks but one that i can finally go mad with and type for about twenty minutes on...The World Series is one time where magic is truly made...and this year will be not be different. I'll will give my divisoin winners and wild cards and go from there.
AL West- Los Angeles Angels (of Anaheim)
AL Central- Detroit Tigers
AL East- Boston Red Sox
AL Wild Card- Chicago White Sox
NL West- Arizona Diamondbacks
NL Central-Cincinatti Reds
NL East-New York Mets
NL Wild Card-Chicago Cubs
Out of those eight teams, I can see the Cubs vs Diamondbacks in the NLCS and the Angels vs Red Sox. With that being said I believe the World Series will be
CUBS VS ANGELS
Both teams have everything in place with just a few key componants needed. It is hard to say considering that we are only two weeks into the season....but i don't think the Cubs have enough to beat the Angels...so I see the Angels in six over the Cubs and the Cubs taking the pennant within the next two years.

Over the past 6 years, a team from each division has won the World Series. D-Backs, Angels, Marlins, Red Sox, White Sox, and Cardinals. If this trend continues, then an NL West team will win it. I'll go with:
Padres over A's

I know I am a homer but really with the Red Sox rotation and Paps as the closer I think they have the best chance out of everyone this year. Not only do they have the best pitching but they have a ridiculous 1-5 batting order that will give enough runs to support the equally ridiculous pitching staff.

The Boston Red Sox.
They have the best Pitching staff in the AL east.
They have the most durable and solid bullpen.
They have Manny Ramirez.
They have the best offense in the AL east.
They have solid defense.
If this team stays healthy dont be surprised if they win it all and make a similar playoff push next year.
Look for them to make some moves to add another big arm in the bullpen.

Can we say with Atlanta actually having relievers and coaches, other players stepping up at the plate when the 2 jones's are in a slump, and a decent opening record it may very well be them. So I will say as I have said since I was a small child making the 4 hour trip with my dad to see them at the old Fulton County Stadium back in the day's of Dale Murphy and Joe Niekro (or was it Phil, I forget) GO BRAVES!!!!!

Deee-troit Baseball!!!!!!
Tigers will be back. So far most of the games they won were alway from home, and this pass saturday agaisnt the Blue jays (a team you will see in the post season) coming from behind to win the ball game, shows you they play ALL 9 innings.

Red Sox and Yankees are going to be the name mentioned most:
I will score them out of 5 for each category.
Rotation: Redsox (5/5), Yankees (2/5)
Bullpen: Redsox (3/5), Yankees (4/5)
Line Up: Redsox (4/5), Yankees (5/5)
Defense: Redsox (4.5/5), Yankees (3.5/5)
Gotta go with the Sox. I would say the scoring is accurate.
