When she gets her first period, technically, although I think that unless there's an actual problem, it can wait until she's an adult or becomes sexually active.

I think no later than 16. The GYN may say she doesn't have to come back yearly until she's 18, but it's something she'll have to deal with the rest of her life, so why not get started to make sure everything is ok?

A girl should start going to the GYN when she becomes sexually active, has her first period or turns 18.

The most common reason girls go to the GYN after their first period is to get Birth Control which can help regulate her period and help ease cramping. :)

Good luck!

Around the age of 15 or when she is sexually active it really depends on the person some girls don't go until they are 18.

Either at the age of 18 or when she is sexually active. Whichever comes first.

Personally, when they feel comfortable enough so it doesn't seem like an act of violation. 18, sexually active, or if theres a problem...but dont make her feel violated when shes just beginning to accept herself.

Unless she is sexually active or have serious menstruation problems or something, there is really no need to go until she is 18.

Now.

Well... I went when I was 11 because my periods were not regular and were really heavy, so we wanted to rule anything out.

Personally I think girls should go after they get their first period or no later than 16 years old.

but that's just me :)

Age 18, or when sexually active (and that means any activity, not even...you know, the full act)...
