I am using a Belkin Wireless dongle to a Wireless router I received free from AOL........ this seems to work okay sometimes but other times it just refuses to connect with Windows XP telling me it is unable connect due to little or no activity, I can then reboot the computer and sometimes this works first time or sometimes I have to reboot a couple of times to get my connection...... any computer experts out there who can help, I have even tried disconnecting the dongle and reconnecting, I think this worked once but this is not really a whole solution.... Help!!!.

How far away from the router is the computer? If it is too far away, the signal will not be strong enough to keep the connection alive.

When I set up my wireless I had the same problem with the Belkin router I bought. I asked a friend and he told me it was trasmitting on a Wirless G frequency and my computer would only take Wireless A or Wireless B. I went and got a cheaper Linksys router and it works great I love it. I saved myself about $100
