First you need to cleanse your skin. Keep you skin clear from blemishes.
Take vitamins that keep the skin clear.
Niacin,vitamin A and E.
Drink at least 8 glasses of water per day, don't go crazy drink what is recommended too much water can kill.
or for a quick fix
Just before you put on your foundation wash your face with baking soda and rinse it all off. Then rinse your face in cold water (to make pores smaller).
Then apply foundation evenly on your face dont forget jawline and hairline. Then use a loose face powder to set it.

All the answers above, about taking care of your skin are very true, but you also need a foundation that gives you that look. I recommend Lancome Tient Idole. Its a very long wearing foundation that makes your skin look flawless. Its a liquid that dries to an incredibly soft powder finish.

You would probably have to use theatre make-up .
You should only use it for stage or entertainment presentations
because up close , it would look too fake or
Like you were trying to be a geisha . . .

Use an ivory shade. Dot your forehead, cheeks, and chin-----then blend in all over. If it is not enough, repeat the process.
