Every time i am on line ,internet explorer keeps popping up with adverts. It is really annoying. Why is this happening

you have adware and spyware on your computer.
Download adaware ( http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ ) and
spybot ( http://www.spybot.info/ ), install them, update the signatures, then do a complete scan of your computer.

It could be a few different things that are causing this. However the most likely one is a virus or spyware. Do you have upto date virus and spyware scanner, if not you may want to get one. There are a ton online that you can get for free. I would say the most common one is probably AVG. Good-luck

try going to: Tools / options / security / and turning on pop-up blocker
