Wealth. Look what fame has done to Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, and Lindsey Lohan . . . it turned perfectly nice little girls into vapid airheads who cannot manage their day. It was fame that did that, right? What do mean they were that way anyway? Huh.

Wealth, because fame can drive you crazy. With all those journalists saying all this false stuff about your life and turning it into something that you don't quite know,is not that good. Also you worry too much when it comes to your appearance and you do things that you didn't want to before you were famous.Fame changes your life and if you don't have the perfect character or something like that you can't deal with it correctly which is bad..

I would say wealth. I would rather have money and not have fame, because then I could enjoy my money without anyone bothering me.

I would go with wealth, because you can become famous for doing something horrible, like being a serial killer, and that only gets you the death penalty, no money.

Wealth, you can have the fame, especially if I have the wealth. (Don't want anybody knowing I have wealth, especially my relatives.)

Wealth would be a welcomed change.
*As a public school teacher, I've got all of the "face recgnition" I can handle in one lifetime.
**I get greetings from carloads of former students, their families, etc., while on my way to the mall, karate tournaments, grocery store, etc.
**I run into former students in the strangest places (i.e., at the beach hundreds of miles away, in a zoo in another city, etc.).
**A former student of mine became a stripper (no joke).
***A former collegue and his buddies visited her club one evening, and they ended up telling her where they worked.
**She responded with,"Cool! Tell Mr. *** that I said "Hi!' He was the coolest teacher I ever had!".
Fame is fun, but being "on" 24/7 is a bit of a drag, at times.
(;=]
