Good Lord, people always think God can save the world...

I liked someone else's analysis: God treats us like children. He gives us tools, he watches us grow, but he never interferes with our growing - we have to learn from our mistakes.

He has his own plan, and in this case, he called these poor victims back to Heaven. Hard as that is to accept, this is Earth - it's not the Promised Land or Afterlife, and it's not perfect, because it's not supposed to be. It's a test. All you can do is live your life as a child of God until the day he calls you home.

If God was a fickle human parent, yes, then God would 'give up' on his children. I suspect 'God' is much larger than that. This was a choice of a young, disturbed man. God created the laws. We operate within them. All wrongs and imbalances will be balanced. This is what reincarnation is for.

The majority of this nation has either worshipped false Gods, went against what God has asked, taken God out of schools, public life, prayer, etc...
No God has not given up, Satan has taken over as the Bible says he would, this has been his world since he was kicked out of Heaven.
Those who have denied and taken God out, are now reaping their rewards, hope they are happy with themselves for denying the ten commandments, denying the true teachings of Christ, denying the salt of the earth, hating christians, and denying Christians their rights. Gods final wrath will stop it all, including satans agendas.........

God is sovereign. We cannot question why He allowed Satan to influence this person. God does no evil, but He does allow people to have free will. In this case, the person who committed this horrific crime, chose to listen to Satan and his evil dominions, rather than the still, small voice of God. God bless the families of those killed and injured in this terrible event.

God does not intervene in the world, either for good or bad. If he did, we would not have free will. But he grieves when WE allow such things to happen.

God didn't allow anything to happen. He gave man free will. And he hasn't given up on us.

I don't think God can intervene in these things, we have choices to make and this man chose to murder inocent people. If God stepped in every time something bad happened we would have no war or crimes.

Because God gave mankind free will. He gave each of us free will to do what we please. To live our lives as we wish. He didnt create us as some perfect little robots. We are "human". Thats our flaw.
God gave us the free will to do good, and to do bad. Its our choice. If that bad means that we harm others-so be it. Its our world in a sense....
