Excellent point. Could it be that Bush can't look the parents of the fallen soldiers in the eyes because he and he alone is responsible for their deaths?

Hypocritical, yes. Surprised, no. Bush is ridiculed for anything and everything. And the ones at fault are liberals.

You liberals are pathetic. I was at a funeral at Arlington for an old friend of mine and he delayed his trip to Texas to attend. When asked about his trip, he said that meetins can be rescheduled, but a memorial for an American hero can't.

When you question Bush, why don't you also question your other bed buddies who spit on our men and women. Persons like Sean Penn, John Murtha, Diane Feinstein, Russ Feingold, Charles Rangel, John Kerry, Lou Dobbs, Keith Olberman, Rocky Anderson, Rosie O'Donnell, Jane Fonda, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Tim Russert and of course, above all others, Fred Phelps.

Confront them and then come back and say Bush doesn't honor our fallen heroes. You will fail to. Because compared to them, Bush is the only person who honors them and yet still gets lynched for it. Extreme Liberals should be ashamed of themselves. Because I am ashamed to say I am related to some.

No, I don't think it is. He's not directly responsible for the deaths of those students, the way he is for the soldiers. It would be inappropriate to show up at the soldier's memorials. Showing up at the students memorial is an important show of national support for the community.

If he went to the memorials of every soldier that dies, he wouldn't have time to do anything else. Not that he really does much anyway.

You liberals and your urban myths. Bush has visited the memorial for several soldiers, like the one who threw himself on a grenade and saved 3 men. You peoplpe dishonor the dead by using them as a pawn in your political agenda.

Personally I don't know of him not going to soldiers memorials, I'll take your word for it. I am no great fan of his but as "Leader" of this nation, he needed to go to this ceremony as a sign of understanding the depth of this senseless tragedy. If he did not go, he would have been criticized for being heartless and not grasping the depth of the shock, dismay and grief this has brought to the nation as a whole.

That's a great question. He sure likes to shake the hands of live soldiers but when it comes to honoring the fallen he's no where to be found.
