i would change my name to read:
sumdumfuk fukudumhoe
its different, oriental, and masculine.

No this is not a good idea to change our own name !Why because this is the second thing we have given entirely to our parent to keep our name of their choice apart from to be a reason of our birth!!We should not violet this moral un written rule ! Again for a reason of their feelings towards us ! MAny time I wonder when I see children going in agaist of their parent and hurt them that too for a small things !! If for some reason better known to you , you want to change your name than please take their permission and make them agree and other wise every one is free to do what they think best ! But be ready to face such situation at the terminal stage of life !! I mean your children may want the same thing !What ever name you have is perhaps the BEST in eyes of your parent and stick to it ! It is a long lasting pleasure for them ! Why to take it away ?Gos Bless you ! I remains always YouRs mE

When I was a kid, I wanted to change my name because in every class, there was always at least one other Erin or Aaron. I got to the point that I never answered to my name. Of course I could never decide on the name I wanted. Now, I like my name. It has meaning for me now. I don't think I'd ever be able to idenitfy with a different one now.

You gotta make the best out of what is given to you in life. Feel special and proud of the fact that someone who loved you (and that I would guess you love also) felt compelled to assign to you a particular name.

Yes my first name is Tressia and nobody says it right. I've thought about this alot I would pick something common like Heather, Pam, Samantha or Julie.

no i like my name even though people cant pronouce it i thin k it is unqiue even though it only has five letters
