Missing a pill by one day should not have made you significanty more susceptable to pregnancy. Two weeks may not be enough time for a pregnancy test to be viable. If you have stopped taking the pill you are definately at risk of getting pregnant and need to abstain from sex or use some other dependable form of birth control. If you don't start your period within two more weeks I reccomend taking another pregnancy test at that time. Otherwise, consult the doctor who prescribed the pills.

Yes. It is very likely that you are pregnant. It takes about 7 days for the pills to build up in your system and be protected. Anytime you skip a pill, let alone a week, you have a very high chance of getting pregnant.
If you are not pregnant. Look into getting depo-provera shots or another form of birth control that you do not have to think about on a daily basis. The pill is something you HAVE to take everyday and near the same time of the day for it to be effective. http://www.webmd.com/sexual-conditions/guide/sexual_conditions_guide

Yes, you have to start with the first and if a pill is ever missed, you need to use other forms of birth control until you have been on them regularly for 1 month

It is necessesary to take at least 21 days of active pills before using the placebos. If you took less than 21 pills in a row then yes, pregnancy is a possibility.

When you miss a whole week of pills I would definately say there is a chance you could be pregnant. You have to take the pills CORRECTLY to make them effective.

You should have used a back up method for a few more weeks to give the hormones in the pill more time to set in. I would definitely test.

It is possible but there isn't any reason to worry until you take a test....wait and see if your period comes. Since you have never been on the pill before that could also change your menstrual cycle.

Yes you could be. Your doctor should have told you it takes a minimum of one month of taking pills before your chances of conceiving goes down. Or did you just not listen when they were explaining it to you? Good luck.

Yes you can! You should have used another form of birth control! That can happen if you miss more than one day! You should have known all this so you would have known what to do, don't you think? Instead of just doing whatever?????Congratulations Mommy!!!
