Hello,

I formed a corporation in Dec of 2006 that has no sales, expenses or employees. Do I have to file taxes for 2006 still?

I will probably use Turbo Tax for business if I do.

Thanks!

Thank you for the help. This is a Delaware Corp and our office is in Illinois. Should I file state taxes and if so for which state?

Yes, a corp must file every year even if there is no activity.

Yes. You need to file an "inactive return". Both Federal and State.

If you do not file one, you eventually will receive correspondence requesting you to file a return.
