So about two months ago i answered a question:Why do republicans keep defending child rapist Foley?Three days ago i get an email from answers saying they are going to delete my answer.Does that sound like a question that should be deleted accusing somone of rapping children, always thought it was innocent until proven guilty. If answers would have looked at this person other questions leading to my answer maybe they would have thought different but i think they are for anyone who writes democratic questions no matter what the content.ive been here for about 3 years and never a problem until i answered a question that was against republicans.SO u tell me is the site going to do this to all republicans?Ive noticed they already have.So what do u think about them doing this?I believe in many things the democrates say and the republicans i am non-party but this was just off the wall and wrong two months later.do u think they were bored and just found mine to delete?

No but some people are whiners and claim abuse when there is none.
A few weeks ago, some lazy knucklehead asked for examples of "the vegeterianism." I simply responded with a question asking why he couldn't look this up on google or wikipedia himself and I got tagged for abuse. Another time I got tagged for saying the Texas Rangers SUCK even though such a phrase is common sports vernacular in America.
My anti-Bush posts have also been frequently tagged for abuse which I find hilarious and very revealing about the right-wing chuckleheads on this site.

There's no bias like that from Yahoo. There are people from both sides that have questions and answers deleted all of the time. I asked a question a couple of months back that wasn't deleted until long after I had chosen a best answer and stopped even thinking about it - and it wasn't a question in favor of the Republicans. For the most part, deletions happen because some nitwit thinks that the way to disagree with you is to report you. There are nitwits on both sides here, trust me. You can fight the deletion if you wish, and often times when you do they restore your points, etc.

You are not a celebrity and you need one to help ask this question. A celebrity voice will be provided to help you ask your question.
Celebrity voiceover:
I'm a republican and yahoo answers is against me.
I'm not real sure who I defended in my answer. I said they were innocent until proven guilty. I Didn't say who they were, if I was talking about child rapists or mark foley.
I never had a problem until I answered a question against republicans.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I just reported this question. Adios!
-----------------------------
Seriously, I argue politics from a far left-wing position and I've been reported for offering rational answers to inflamed questions myself. I've also asked some rather one-side questions and offered some such questions that Yahoo never posted.
I would never report a right-winger for any questions asked or answers given. I enjoy the discourse and all the vitriol that exists between those who passionately embrace politics.

I do not think Yahoo is against republicans. Someone decided to report you for some abuse and yahoo sided with them.
Same thing happened to me. An individual was posting questions but changing Liberal to republican. I answered it and someone reported me for abuse.
It just happens. People report and Yahoo has the right to delete.
*****
The other lesson is I do not answer some individuals on here.

I just got a similar email on a very innocuous answer about unemployment. Broke some kind of rule, I guess.

No and no, I don't think they were "bored." You probably had a reason that it was deleted. I could only throw out guesses unless I saw your answer and that question. Just move on to the next answer.

For the record, I have had a few innocent questions "zapped" and they conveyed the liberal perspective. So don't think that the YA folks are biased. It just ain't so.
