my brother is leaving for college in eight weeks i'm sooo sad. I don't want him to leave . I love him!!!! What should I say to him at graduation I n=know i'm going to cry because a part of me will be missing. And on top of that all my boyfriend lives miles away....

I can understand how you feel. My niece was very upset when her only brother left for college. He was her mainstay and refuge between her mom and dad. The irony was they became closer. She was able to visit him on campus regularly and had an opportunity to see what college life was like. He kept in touch by writing, sendin cards, emailing, and coming home as much as he could. Your love for your brother will not go away - you might be surprised to find that your own personal life will get busier. Have a little faith in what love does and what love is. Yes, you will cry and you will miss him, but between the two of you - do whatever you can to help the relationship stay intact.

It can be hard when people your close to move a way. I was close to my brother too and still am. When he went a way to college I had a hard time. We wrote to each other, talked on the phone, and I would visit him at school and we'd spend time together we he came home for holidays. I would enjoy the eight weeks you have with him and keep in contact with him when he's a way at school. Tell him that your proud of him that he's going to school and let him know that you're there for him.

They are right about telling him you will miss him and love him but you also should be proud of him that he is going on to school. Be sure to tell him that too.
