hmm. i want something that i can strongly argue/support, but i can't decide.....vietnam? civil rights movement...? women's suffrage/rights....?

The Civil Rights MOvement or even the end of slavery in USA, would be your best option. Personally, I was always more interested in the 19th century. Did you know there were at least two men in that era, named John?

try writing on how u.s. conquered the philippines in 1941 and what caused it.. write on the disadvantages and advantages it caused to the u.s. and to the philippines also. good luck! =)
