Terry is a good captain for Chelsea just cuz he kinda guides his team to the right path when they're going down the wrong one.
When Beckham was the English captain, he led well cuz he was the inspiration of the team.
Zidane was a good captain as well cuz he was fierce and had determination.
Ballack is a good captain cuz he just had the attitude to take on tough stuff even when he was injured.
Cannavaro is a good Italian captain cuz he just is.

Roy Keane, gets a yellow card in the semi final of the champions league banned for the final 2 goals down and he drags the team through. A real captain. Unlike beckham he couldnt captain an under 10 team

You know what? People don't mention him as often as the others but Ballack is a really good captain (Germany)..
Canna of course (Italy)
I think C Ronaldo is gonna make a really good captain for Portugal one day. Seriously, he's grown up so much in the past few years and within 5 years he's gonna be perfect captain material. So I think in Brasil, in 2014, he'll be our captain for sure.

For clubs:Roy Keane(when he was still d man u captain),John Terry(Chelsea),Steven Gerard(Liverpool),Paolo Maldini(ac Milan)
I think they are( or were) good captains cos they had a positive vibe around them and good team spirit.

Raul Gonzales IS the best team captain
fact: when he was injured and did not play the team was so slow and they couldn't get together ,But when he came back ,every body started to play better.
He is the best!!
