The demo's can't. Only until we become one as a nation, can the us become a utopia. everyone will have to see each other as an equal, and as far as I can tell. That won't be for a looong time.

When was it ever a "Utopia"? When we had human slavery, women were the property of their husbands, and only the wealthy could afford to educate their children? The post-Civil War era, when our government had a bounty on buffalo with the intent of starving Native Americans into submission? The early 1900's, when the KKK ruled the south, and the courts were stacked with crooked racist judges? WWII, when we rounded up innocent Japanese Americans and dumped them in camps? Or, maybe you mean the 50's, when preachers barricaded schoolhouse doors to keep the black children out, and interracial marriage was still illegal in more than a dozen states? Honestly, until our personal freedoms started being eroded by Conservative rule, I'd say we were about as close to a "free" nation as we've ever been.

If the Democrats control congress much longer, there won't be any US period. Why? Because they want the terrorists to come here by running away from Iraq & Afghanistan ! Because, if we ( The United States & Canada) leave those two countries now, Syria & Iran will swoop into them both & they will have all the oil. Saudi Arabia is too wishy washy to rise up and lead the moderate Muslims against the extremists. The Democrats are too spineless to stay the fight to the end. The Liberals up here in Canada are at the whining too, wanting Prime Minister Stephen Harper to bring the troops home. The Liberals sent them there under Chretien, but now the polls are not in their favor, so like all Liberals(including Democrats), they are changing their stripes in mid stream.

The U.S. was never a Utopia, the closest we got was when the founding fathers secured our freedom from Imperial Great Britian, but those guys weren't Democrats, they were Libertarians...

Hummm never seen the US as being a Utopia in the passed. Better look to the future.
Utopia (from Greek: οὠno, and ÏÏÏοÏ, place, i.e. "no place" or "place that does not exist") is depicted as a perfect social, legal, and political system.
Never seen the perfection to date.

You honestly put your faith in Democrats? They are the ones that usually take your rights away? When you are left defenseless and China or Al Queda attacks you on your own property are you going to blame our government? We as Americans reserve the right to protect our families. Why should criminals be the only ones to have rights to guns. I say this because if you are methodically planning a travesty such as what happened yesterday nothing is going to stop a criminal from getting a weapon. I suppose you are the type of person that blames video games to!

Dude, listen America is a Super Power not because the Democrats did anything, but because of Great Americans like Ronald Reagan. Republicans have made the difference, they have balls and are gutsy and that's what America needs.... Republican 4 life!

The correct answer is never.
Nor will the Republicans do it either,
It may happen when the majority of the people follow their hearts and not their pocket books when dealing with life in general.
