Yes, Pokemon XD can trade with Ruby, Sapphire, Fire Red, Leaf Green or Emerald. You must beat XD in order to trade - though. If you're trading with Fire Red or Leaf Green then they must have the Network Machine activated. If you're trading with Emerald then you must have the National Dex.
