It depends on the state law in each of the states, but you would have to be employed in each state with an employer that filed the correct information and in most states, you would have to be a resident for a certain period of time. In states that require more than a 6 month residency, it is going to be harder to juggle to get two filings in one year.

you can only file in the state you reside but the states share info. so one state can get info. from the other state
