baby is fine. Did you know babies can cry in the womb and their jaws can quiver. They paddle along the inside of your uterus. I thought my baby was having a siezure, but this is normal movement. Just enjoy the it if you can. I would always try to imaging what shes doing in there, it would make me smile.

You can always just put a call in to your OB's office and they might give a better medical explanation,

My doc said when the baby isnt moving is when you should worry.

Congrats!!

You know what? I'm glad you asked this question, cause I'm 28 weeks and sometimes it feels like this to me too. Like he'll be kicking, but also feels like a shaking and twitching at the same time. And it's not rythmic like hiccups either. It's exactly like you described it...a shaking. All I can say is, it happens to me too. I hope you get some good answers.

I know my son did it too when I was pregnant with him. I think its a sort of reflexive type thing. You know when you get the chills for no reason and shiver. Babies seem to do that too after they come out so it stands to reason that they'd do it inside too. I wouldn't worry too much unless they stop moving for long periods of times afterwards. If thats the case get to your doctor because the baby could be in distress or wrapped in the cord.

I would find reason for alarm in that movement. The doctor needs to know about it ASAP.
