I am going to wear my green kilt very soon, and I was wondering what would look good with it.

It all depends on what the occasion is.

If it is a formal event then I would go with an Argyle or Prince Charlie jacket, solid black or matching green tie, black leather and/or all fur sporran, black or white kilt hose and smart shoes.

If it is less formal but not totally casual, then I would recommend a black or wheat colored Jacobite shirt (the kind that laces up the front) off white kilt hose and loafer or deck shoes.

If you are going for every day casual, a solid color shirt, button-up or tee, and some Doc Martin or Timberland kind of boots with the socks scrunched down really looks good too.

Brown sporran, belt and shoes are good for casual wear.

Last and most important, the pleats go in the back! (You would be amazed at how many guys don't know that.)

No matter what, wear that kilt with pride, a man in a kilt is a man and a half.

A cream colored button down shirt would be good.
And some knee high black socks, and shiny shoes with buckles.
