For those that don't know, the mesopause is the upper layer of the Earth's atmosphere. It is also the coldest. Some believe that the mesopause is being damaged by modern human activity.

The answer to the question is that changes in the mesopause do not create debris which can kill astronauts and damage our satellites. Satellites may seem silly to you, but in addition to communications, they are used for weather and crop forecasting. They save thousands of lives every year.

Satellites don't cause major disturbance of the mesosphere and cannot cause magnetic filed disturbances. I'm not sure what your sources are but they're wrong.
