1) Dodgers - Pitching wins games, and they've got far and away the best starting staff in baseball. If Jason Schmidt is even close to 100%, they'll win their division easily.

2) Tigers - They're in a killer division, but they've actually improved on their World Series team of last season by adding Sheffield and getting a year under those young pitchers' belts.

3) Yankees - Even with all their pitching problems, they're still contenders. Their offense is stacked, and all they need is for their starters to be average.

4) Indians - Another strong offensive team, and they now have a good rotation led by C.C. and the young guys. They'll fight the Tigers in that division.

5) Red Sox - The additions of Drew and Matsuzaka are both huge. If Schilling stays healthy and Beckett improves from an off year, they'll be great.

I really wanted to include my Jays, but they're not there yet and have a ton of injuries. And I don't mean to disrespect the Mets, but I have concerns about their staff. Glavine and El Duque are injury risks simply because of their age, while Maine and Perez are question marks. If they perform, though, my list will be totally thrown off.

This is not in order, just who ever I think of first.

1, Yankees:A rod is having a come back, and when their pitcing staff gets healed, they will be on the way to the WS.

2. Red Sox: Dice-K will bring um to the top, along with their very consistant and hard hitting lineup. (FYI I am a Yankee's fan, but I still think the red sox will be close.

3.Cubs: Their big spending will help them come close.

4. Tigers: Thier manager (forgot name) is amazing, he should finish what he almost had last year.

5.Mets: Their pitching, feilding , and batting are all great, maybe they can pull it together.

1.Detriot-They have one of the best starting rotations with Verlander,Bonderman, and Robertson.
2.Cleveland-They have a possible MVP and CY young in Sabathia and Sizemore.
3.Boston-great hitting and as of right now Beckett,Wakefield,Matsuzaka, and Schilling have an era of under 3.00.
4.Brewers-They are in a very weak NL.Ben Sheets is healthy again.Suppan is a nice addition to thier rotation and has proven he can pitch in the postseason.
5.Philadelphia-Are having a slow start, but have the best hitting in the NL just a matter of time until they heat up.
