Death is a natural part of life. Everything dies. I can't, nor would I want to, prevent this. So I just do my best to enjoy life, friends and family while I can.
(I work in a care home for young adults who have suffered brain injuries. It made me appreciate that everyone's life hangs on a thread. Chance and whim govern the universe. So I'm grateful for what I have here and now.)
Hope that helps.

i'm not very religious at all, but I do always think that GOD has a will with everyone. I relize that we all will hav eto die and that is the fact about life. we're here to enjoy ourselves as much as we can and cherish those who surround us. AT times we're a bit selfish and forget about everyone but most time we want to make it the best we can fo reveryone. It'll be sad to find about a tragedy but just think that we all hav eto go thorough the process and only God know why it happened. Sometimes, it make us stronger, kinder, meaker, humble, unselfish, and wiser.

I comfort myself by prayer and being thankful each morning that I am alive, healthy, and able to get up and have a job to go to.
None of us can predict our futures, so we must be thankful for all the small things that God has given us, and the greater things that we can do for others.
God bless all the loved ones who lost their lives yesterday at Virginia Tech, and to the surviving families. You are all in my thouughts and in my prayers.

Are you just coming to grips with the fact that the world is NOT in your control? You will soon go crazy if you constantly think that at any day you or someone you love will die.

I take responsibility for my own actions, in other words, I take control of myself. I expect nothing from large groups of people, other than that they will act stupidly, and I take steps to avoid their stupidity. I make sure my loved ones know I love them, on a daily basis, but do not count on them being around forever, I know they won't be. Value what is good in your life and do your best to anticipate and avoid that which is not good.

I try not to think about the chaos that is present and I focus on the time we have with our loved ones and friends. I try not to think of the negative because it will only drive you nuts in the end.

Because if you act with moderation and use a little sense it will lower the amount of risk you place yourself in.

You can't constantly dwell on it. Try to live as long as you can, take good care of yourself and live life to the fullest.

I just keep moving.
I've lost people close to me before, so it's not a pain I havn't felt before,
You just have to keep going, spend every day like it's you last or their last.
