Sometimes I have these repetetive thoughts about my loved ones dying, and once I start thinking about it, I start crying and I can't stop...
This happens to me at work and sometimes at night.
Other times, I get a phrase stuck in my head, and I have to ask my fiance has to say it out loud before it will go away...
I do not have any "rituals" that I need to perform, but sometimes I get impulses to do weird things, like last night I had to go out to the store and buy 7 candles (and I am not religious!).
I have read on "web MD" and wikipedia the symptoms of OCD, and I don't think I quite fit the criteria.
Please help!!
Serious answers only please...

Those are 'rituals' my dear, mental ones. Obsessive thoughts fall under the OCD umbrella. Speak to your doctor.

It sounds like a mixture of ocd and anxiety.Speaking as someone who suffers from both,Id say you need to see a doctor. There are medications that help level you out so that its doesnt rule your life.Good luck,I know how you feel.

It definitely sounds like you have an anxiety disorder, but not OCD. You should talk to your doctor and get a referal.
