They call them Yorkies or People from Yorkshire because Sheffield is in Yorkshire...

As far as I'm aware there isn't a name for them. Just asked my girlfriend who's from Sheffield and she's not aware of any names either (or maybe she's not letting on because she knows I'll start calling her it).

People from Yorkshire are Tykes but that's a lot more than just Sheffield.

Typically Folk from Sheffield are Steel City Dwellers, Or there's a derogatory term known as 'Dee-Dars'

anyone from sheffield would probably say they are from steelcity.does that make them steelmen or women
