i just got an e-mail saying that there are quantities of lead in a lot of brands of lipstick ,that u can verify this by puting some on your hand and rubbing it with a gold ring ,if it turns black it means it contains lead.of course we get lots of scare.u silly mails like this,im hoping that it is a sick joke realy.....

No - lead is not used in cosmetics.

Lead was used in cosmetics in ancient Rome, France in the 1800's, etc. but not any more.

Yes, and apparently the lipstick that says it stays on forever and last forever are the worst offenders.

Im not sure...but i do know that theres fish sales in it. But if it wasnt safe to use then it wouldnt be sold so no need to worry lol

i dont think they would put lead in lipsticks .
