Percent increase = (new value - old value) / old value

Item 1 example
% increase = (2600 - 300) / 300
% increase = 766.67%

If you want the annual % increase you would divide by 2 (simple interest) or you would need to use financial values

In Excel
if you wanted total % increase and 2005 values were in column A and 2007 in column B
(B1-A1)/A1

If you wanted simple annual percentage increase
(B1-A1)/A1/2

If you wanted annual compounded percentage increase
=RATE(2,0,-A1,B1)
= 194% compounded annually

I can't help you with the excel part, but here is the formula:

(Price in 2007 - Price in 2005) / Price in 2005 multiplied by 100.

Let us do all the five items:

Item 1: [(2600 - 300) / 300] X 100 = 766.67

Item 2: 291.60 is the answer [ (79425 - 20282)/20282] X 100

I think you can now do the rest.

2005 Total
$1,262,765.21

2007 Total
$2,057,730.02

Subtract 2005 from 2007 totals
2,057,730.02 - 1,262,765.21 = $ 794964.81

The percent
794964.81/1262765.21 = .06295

Multiply by 100
.06295 x 100 = 62.95

Round
63%
