how do you put a question in voting?

Wait 4 hour's to choose a best answer, if you cant find a best answer, go tothe picture that looks like a pencil and click it, then click Put Question In Voting!

I have never put any of my questions into voting, I always pick the best answer after the 4 hours or as soon as I can. but it automaticly goes into voting after the 3 days are up.

See those little boxes under the answer this question button? (or under your question) The one on the right has an option to let you put the question to a vote

You let it go past 3 days and then go down to the plus sign and click on "put into voting"

just dont choose a best answer and it automatically goes to voting
