Vasectomy surgery is very cheap in India. The cost is very low and the medical services are very good in India.

My cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the Forerunners Healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is a known case of PCOS.She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full IVF treatment in India for which she was quoted 8000 pounds in private setup in UK.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the newspapers. I have also read about a Chinese couple who planned surrogacy through the Forerunners Healthcare. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery and infertility treatment like IVF, IUI, and ICSI abroad for low price. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery and treatment can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

By law he only need be 18. The age limitations are imposed by the doctor, or by the clinic. I got mine just before my 22nd birthday.

The cost depends on his insurance. Back in 1989, I paid $250 cash for the whole thing. Today it would cost about $400-$800 with insurance paying most of the bill. If he works for a government agency, then it may cost him nothing because they usually have good insurance.

There are no laws stating that you have to have a certain number of children. That is up to the doctor or the clinic as well. They don’t check, so he can lie about the number of children. I told them I had one and didn’t want any more. The truth is, I don’t have any, and don’t want them ever.

No there is no law that says you must be married. Again this is up to the doctor or the clinic.

He will have to ask his doctor for a referral to a urologist. Then the urologist will decide. If he or she says no, then go to a different one. Some doctors or clinics impose their own beliefs. Usually it is their personal ethics or religion that makes them refuse. Others may be afraid that his family will sue them.

So to answer your questions: 18, $400-$800, and none.

I know all this because I am almost 41. I got my vasectomy at age 21. It has been almost 20 years, and the novelty still has not warn off!

BTW: It does not hurt!

Assuming you are an adult, have already had all the children you intend to and your partner agrees, then go see your primary physician for a referral to an urologist.
I had mine when I was 30, married with 2 kids. My wife was fine as I took the load of birth control off of her. Everything works as well as before, I'm 62 and still enjoy an active sex life. The definition of vasectomy is, "never having to sat you are sorry".

The thing to do is to ask your doctor those questions. He is qualified, trained, and licensed to give you all the correct information and advice you need. People on this site are not!! Good luck.
