Why is it that most serial killlers are loners?
I'm a loner, I haven't killed anyone yet.
Is it the lack of social interaction that brings on psychosis, or vice versa?

One of the techniques captives are supposed to use to try and get their captors to identify them as 'fellow humans' is to encourage the use of names - serial killing loners, in addition to maybe having some brain defect that we've yet to discover, may have psyches predisposed to treating everyone else as not human -- maybe they don't even see themselves as human.

Most people who choose to be alone do so on their own accord. Those who strike out with violence most likely were pushed away for some small reason and they have taken it out of proportion. Most people do not even know when their friends are really LONERS. As school loners come ot class and my answer questions if called on. Sort of like an extrovert introvert personality

There is no one thing that sets off a violent outburst. Different things have created serial killers and mass murders.
For instance, University of Texas tower shooter Charles Whitman was thought to have had a cancerous brain tumor that put pressure on the part of the brain that controls violent behavior.

If you're referring to the guy at VT, he wasn't a serial killer -- he was a mass murderer. They're just as like to be loners, too.
And I'm a loner, too and don't own a gun, so even if I felt the urge --

Thats why I always treat the loners really nice in school! I spoke to them when nobody would!
